This is easy, just invite people to do things on weekdays, or far away on the weekend such that it would take up all day saturday and sunday. People fucking hate it when I invite them to the beach on Wednesday, or snowboarding on Tuesday.

Don't worry so much about what you SHOULD do, and just do what you want. If you want to keep going to work and you enjoy it and you have time to do what you like and it boosts your confidence, that's okay.

I'm retired but if I felt like getting a job, I wouldn't feel like a failure about it. It'd just be a hobby that pays me.
