Don't sweat it, I was in exact same position as you (started in 2016), came out even despite peaking 6 figures during the 2017 run. I learned a lot and one anon here in 2019 gave me 2 simple tips that I followed this run, and I plan on following again next run to make it.

1. Expect a bullrun to happen shortly after the BTC halving (which is coded to happen once every 4 years), so until then just DCA and don't worry about the price
2. No one can time the top, but it's important to have an exit plan. There's 2 logical things you can do which is DCA take profits during the run, or what he personally does which is sell when the picycle top indicator crosses (read up on this)

I may have missed the bottom (or maybe i didn't and still might have a chance) because I didn't have the money to throw in at the time, but I'll still DCA until early 2024.

Know that I gain absolutely nothing from telling you this so, believe me when I say that I genuinely hope you make it next run fren. The 2019 anon helped me, and i'm just paying it forward. Hope you screencap this and you pay it forward as well if it works out for you in the 2024-2025 run.
