The reality is there's lots of fakes for some numismatic coins like Morgan dollars. Those counterfeits can even be the correct silver alloy, but they're not authentic, just reproductions. So unless you really know your shit, you can very well get ripped off unless you're buying from a reputable vendor.
And if you start getting into ancient stuff, well good luck if you're buying stuff from random sellers.

Are they going to mint more of these this year, or did I miss the boat?

Also yeah they had the queen on the other side, which felt a bit wrong on this coin.

>What is the counterparty risk in your mind, human understanding of electricity?

Counter party risk is anything that you are reliant on to do the transaction. We tend to associate people being the counter party risk, but in reality it can be anything from hardware to software or even power. Crypto is like the worst version of a safety deposit box, in that the store of value being kept under lock and key is fictitious.

Some of the Niue coins aren't too much. Like these athenian owls (missed that one), and the tree of life (got it).

Anything in olive oil, basically. I don't care much about the brand. I was happy buying the Nixe brand sardines from Lidl, until the portion sizes decreased (shrinkflation) and so I stopped buying those. Still have over 100 of the old (bigger cans) with dates stamped 2025.
The stuff I bought recently isn't actually the expensive stuff. Those were on sale, and actually have the expected amount of fish in them. I also tried some of the same brand (Connetable) that were seasoned with lemon, and those are ok but not something I'd want to eat regularly. I mean just plain olive oil or with spices is better IMO.
