This thread is shocking. I always understood conceptually that there were crazy people, ill people, pathetic people. That there were people who were obsessive or deranged, or that deluded themselves. I knew that abnormal people existed. It's something one learns as a child. We're warned about these individuals by our parents and teachers, we see them in cartoons and films. We might even play as them in videogames.

I have never been confronted with such a person in my own life. I have only ever heard of such things through other people. I called it shocking and it is, but not because I'm shocked by neuro-divergent behavior (we're on 4chan after all). What is shocking is the mundanity. If asked to picture a crazy person I'd probably conjure up an image of someone with floppy hair who licks windows and chases buses while screaming about the little green men in their head. I would never have thought that I would be confronted with a person who has made it their entire existence to impotently seethe about an obscure part of what is, to most people, an opaque world. Chainlink isn't some celebrity to stalk, it isn't a pretty girl to fawn over, it isn't a politician who a person might see as evil. Chainlink is a protocol. It's just a protocol, doing what it is built to do. It's been successful, of course, there's no getting past that, but beyond that there isn't really much to say.
What in God's name brings a person to carry such a bitter hatred for something so humble? Why would anybody ever go to such lengths? What the FUCK is going on here?

I have a feeling we're entering a new age of man in which this sort of thing becomes much more commonplace. In a world of ever increasing connectivity there is a grave paradox that some people, like OP, feel themselves ever more isolated. I guess he's just snapped.
We live in a strange and terrifying world. OP I hope you get the help you need. I'm genuinely going to pray for you tonight.
