Previously, the car has replaced the horse, computers have replaced manual financial reporting and mathematics, online shops replacing retail stores, etc, etc.

Up until now, these efficiency increases have been good, allowing less people to do menial labour and to specialise into higher paying jobs. But what happens when the world runs out of jobs almost entirely? Sure, there will always be creative endeavours, but in the future do we not expect there to simply be less things that need to be done than there are people willing to work?
