As far as prostitution goes, it was first recorded in Babylon around the same time they started recording history (pic rel) looks to me that it predates judiaism. It's very widely known that prostitution existed as one of the oldest professions, as hunter gatherers (as you stated) had no money, but then would trade goods for services (sex with woman). There are a few scholarly papers on this subject from reputable sources, it's just simply something that's always existed as a market (regardless of yours and my personal beliefs on the subject).
I agree, we should be breeding to propagate our species(we're already doing that). That's only a small portion of the problem though, we really should be prioritizing education in these kids, and socializing them early on. I'm a firm believer that we should also tailor education to students strengths and interests, and teaching them the relevance of every aspect (as it pertains to their study and practice). The very worst thing that can be done is a cookie cutter education for everyone, solely because it's easier and cheaper.
