I've prospected plots of land, investigated architectural firms, researched crops, investment strategies, travel destinations, watches, cars, exotic plant species for my topiary, the exact arrangement of books for my personal library, you name it.

I know it will all come and until then I will wait. I have the certainty that I will be a multimillionaire. That's more than I could say before this all started. I was resigned to the idea that I would wage forever, patiently stacking money into an index fund, so I could retire early with a modest home and die of cancer by 80. Now I know I can live in ease, sipping cocktails in my jacuzzi overlooking the mountains, while others die in civil war. The patient man is rewarded tenfold if he just finds the courage to wait.
