I've recently got some extra money to put into stonks, which is what I've been waiting for some time. I was all in on a chinese meme stonk that has worked quite well but it's obviously too risky. I'm looking into diversfying a bit now.
I've already put some money on tencent which I had wanted to do for some time now and wanted to add some more """safe""" investments.
I was thinking SPY or the actual sp500 index fund. Why should I invest in one or the other? from what I gathered, spy let's you enter at lower rates, but works like a standard ETF meaning you have to pay commissions, etc. However, This would leave me some extra cash to invest in other stuff, If I have to go for the index fund itself it'd be all the cash I got left.

>inb4 buying at an ATH, I know.

Don't think the bull run will stop before the next elections with all the QE going on atm.
