Ive been in crypto since march 2017.

Things that exist now that didnt when i started looking into this stuff:
- Crypto collateral loans for real life $
- debit cards that carry a BTC balance and convert to USD instantly whenever you make a purchase
- stable coins that dont reek of scam
- DECENTRALIZED ORACLES
- decentralized exchanges that dont suck balls (idex and dare i say it? Switcheo)
- Government programs sponsoring blockchain development (see factom)
- Constant government attention (if you dont notice this you arent looking) from congress and the SEC and shit from a regulatory perspective
- fucking eToro and Robinhood sell crypto now LMAO
- buying shitcoins with debit or credit cards (back in my day we had to use coinbase and transfer, and ALL THEY HAD WAS ETH BTC AND LTC)
- Definitive "green lights" on projects. Its pretty obvious which ones are scams now, when ERC20s were first rolling out dogshit like Edgeless looked as Legit as RLC (not that the two have comparable use cases)
