Geez fren, that's a ton of BAT. I'll pass it on! But if I had to guess it seems Brave did it that way as it easier to do automated batch settlements for everyone. Or maybe not, I really haven't had a chance to dig into the github yet. I think that's also why they settle once a month so they don't overload the eth network like crypto kitties did. I don't know if that's still on issue or not so I'm not trying to fud anything. There's a lot of other people around here that can answer that with authority.
