Why do people, or better yet, why does the market, even do this? It makes no sense at all to sell something immediately after news of bullish developments, when in some cases (not all) the value of that stock/crypto legitimately deserves to rise, like a partnership or successful launch. Actually no, it’s fucking stupid. I understand that you’re anticipating that everyone else will follow this same adage, but the reason this is an issue in the first place is because it’s a SELF-FULFILLING PROPHECY. It’s probably impossible to ever correct this faulty heuristic among the market but it really bothers me regardless.
