Instant Payment Services charge fees. The Nexus settlement mechanism which provides fx quotes uses an unlisted technology for conversions. The cost for this technology is fixed and borne by IPS' at startup and is effectively free after that. So, if anyone in this thread knows of a foreign currency conversion tech, which is free, instant, industry scalable, cryptographically secure, ISO200222 compliant, AND has legal clarity; now would be a good time to invest in it.
