Takes a while for people to move from paying rent/mortgages to being late on payments to being behind on payments to being foreclosed.
Banks cannot legally foreclose until you are 120 days behind on payments.

This story is a bit old: https://www.cbs17.com/news/north-carolina-news/no-free-ev-charging-without-free-gasoline-diesel-nc-house-bill-would-place-limits-on-car-charging-stations/
But I've been seeing it pop back up the last few days.
They could be placing a bet that CHPT is going to stagnate from news like this even if the broader market is bullish (which I doubt given how green we were the past week)
Also just looking at the open interest on the 15/17.5 it looks similar 50k +~4k
So my guess is they did a 1:1 bear call spread instead of 2:5 which I'm not sure would be profitable?

I am aware of it, their stock on average tends to drop around $2 post dividend so provided your contracts are valued at less than $2 (+whatever current intrinsic value they have - if any) or will be roughly ATM after a $2 drop and have a cost of <(theta x days to expiration) They are fairly safe plays.
You can always manipulate this slightly by executing calls to get stock prior to the div date, selling that stock, and using the proceeds of the sale to short, driving price action more favorably if you are playing with a larger pool of cash.

I bought the USAC dip today.
Why was QQQ up so much when SPY and DOW were relatively flat? Did we get some major positive tech news? Everything I saw over the weekend was negative.

My short positions are:
ABNB (puts)
COIN (puts)
META (puts)
TECS (calls)
SQQQ (shares)
DRV (shares)
TECS (shares)
Bought in a bit early and most are slightly underwater with the exception of the COIN position, but pretty confident we will have more red in the coming days that will put me back in the green.
Also is this general really going to just be cocks and monkey torture now.. I am not thrilled by this.

USAC (Again) Europe is getting crunched with nat gas, and their ex-div date is in ~3 weeks, it always pumps leading up to the ex-div.
