all this talk of "why silver" "bimetalism bad" none of it matters. we are HARD WIRED to love silver and ultimately use it as money.
just look at the periodic table. elements in a column are called being in the same family. Silver and Gold are connected by blood (and so is copper).
imagine the arrogance of thinking you can just undo thousands of years of history. the best analogy for silver is that it is a beachball being held underwater. and silver is held very very deep underwater. we all know what happens when you finally let go.
