It could dump to 3 cents tomorrow and I'd keep buying. Besides, I don't buy on exchanges... I buy them in cash.

See what separates us Monero-chads from you speculators is you're hoping to hold shitcoins to eventually drop your bags on new adopters and sell it for USD or whatever local fiat... we are investing in the currency of the future. Imagine you're in New England in 1750s... and you see the writing on the wall for the revolution and you have the opportunity to start stacking the future US dollar in exchange for your weird colonial credits millions of dollars at a time because "that whole freedom thing is never going to work out"... I'm not selling, I'm never going to exchange the future money for the past's money.

Monero is ACTUALLY being used. Literally being used right now as currency worldwide.

I love these threads, how are you on /biz/ and not know what Monero is?

>adaptive blocksize (gtfo bcash, and SV)
>fungible coins, a fundamental part of currency
>i2p integration being worked on as we speak
>RandomX mining algorithm to be deployed in October
which will increase decentralization and banishes ASICs from the network forever, while also keeping mining more egalitarian
>the cutting edge of development and privacy in the crypto space
>stealth addresses, ring signatures and confidential transactions
>private by default
>trezor/ledger HW wallet support
>blockchain pruning
>Monero messaging system
>code has be audited and reworked endlessly by the third highest developer count of all cryptocurrencies, only behind BTC and ETH
>devs fully funded by the community

Monero is literally the closest thing to cash we can get when it comes to crypto
>>but muh government will ban it
they said the same about bitcoin in the early days
>>but what about zcash?
Zcash has many problems, they have talked about implementing back doors for governments(literally wtf), have a dev tax, trusted setup is massive issue, not being private by default makes all private transactions essentially useless through analysis heuristics,

using a privacy coin for financial privacy does not automatically imply that you're doing something illegal,
do you announce every purchase you make with cash? with your bank account? credit card? no you do not.
imagine of a major company buying supplies to create a product being on a public blockchain,
every competitor would know exactly how much they paid and learn about other internal operations
why do you have blinds in your windows? why do you tint your cars windows?
PRIVACY

I'll let the late night shitposters in a little secret, buying xmr in cash is the best way to increase your stack for cheaper. Go on localmonero, craigslist, druggie .onion forums and advertise that you buy xmr for cash. Do the transaction in a police station, demand a 20% cheaper price than it's on the market... I set a minimum and maximum purchase price. Surprisingly few people say no to those demands.

Monero is much more popular than people think because it's legitimately being used.

This, cryptos are the currency of the future. Why would you bother exchanging for fiat when you're getting a headstart over all the other normie fuckfaces.
