I guess some areas that are completely overbought could see sharper corrections, but at least in the US, there are lots of areas that still have historically reasonable prices. My home right now is 3x my annual income and 4x the median. That's right in line with historical pricing. But without loans, it doesn't mean demand will collapse. It just means that large corporations and sovereign funds will come in and buy everything up. The absence of loans will just remove average people from the demand side of the equation, but demand will still be there. In fact, demand will soar, because in this kind of environment, real estate will be one of the best assets to have, better yet if it's cash flow producing real estate as a rental. I see home ownership plummeting as a result of this and large corporations becoming powerful landlords in a renter's society. For me, I see this scenario shoring up real estate prices, but it prices out new home owners who are relegated to being lifelong renters and even more dependent on the system.

Kek. That's some serious virtue signaling. Are they trying to drum up recruits, or get likes on social media? They went full online white woman. If not for our tech, I would think the chinks would eat us alive.
