AKA market manipulation

Not a very promising future under this system - Proof that the whole crypto game is essentially a pump and dump

Master's degree in finance in less than a year here with 0 experience. I'm considering applying at fidelity investment for a sales job. I hear it pays very well if you're determined and they require the masters + cfa (which enrolled in).

I don't mind working crazy hours/my ass off for a couple of years but in the mid-long term I'd like to just work 9 to 5 (could have some late nights a few times a year) with nothing to think about while outside of the office.
What do?

How do you actually analyze a company? I have to do a big report this semester on a Canadian wood producing company and although I can check for the ratios margins and all, I have to look at the industry and the whole economy before even touching the company.

My question is at what point do you consider information as a good basis for reporting? There are estimates for the housing market and the direction of wood prices and the company say they want to do X and Y but I obviously can't come up with my own expectations of wood prices and the economy as a whole when even professionals can't do that properly. The thing though is that if I just go around saying "oh these estimates seem right yes" I won't really bring anything solid to the table.

What's the most logical thing to do?
