pic related. it's not your usual layer 1 ethereum copycat. what sets ICP apart from every other layer 1 is that you can host literally anything on it. this cycle we've seen a spark in DeFi applications and NFT's on ethereum and every other L1. but apart from that they cannot store any actual data on their network. with icp you can build twitter completely running on the icp network governed by a DAO. anything that you have right now on web2 can be built on web3 (icp). it's just too damn early. that's why only a handful will make it.
