The honeymoon phase is the first 6 or so months of dating. After the first 6 months, fatigue builds as a result of stagnation and with it, slow deterioration. People aren't meant to date for years and years as they do now and after a year without kids/marriage, she will be frustrated, whether she knows it or not, and so will you. You'll start having the same ideations and hopeful fantasies about random girls you just see in public like you used to have about your girlfriend. Moral of the story is this. 6months honeymoon. Then be serious and don't drag it past a yr and a half if you two are just still dating.
