/biz/ went nuts over PoSW Coin in april 2017.
to its credit, it had a working exchange where you could stake a ton of shitcoins and make pretty nice returns. its ecosystem had little structure outside of PoSW being the main coin of its own exchange

i was one of the people who traded all their ETH for PoSW back then. it mooned to 25 cents, but i got greedy and held. it crashed hard when they announced they were dropping PIVX support because they couldnt find a way to keep it profitable

the summer of 2017 saw mostly radio silence while it crashed 85%+ while ETH, BTC, and a bunch of other altcoins mooned. i grew to hate it and basically chalked it off as a total loss.

it came back in fall 2017, seemingly under control of the new team (X9 Devs). since then and especially since the transition to stakenet, it has changed drastically for the better.

there were a few people who stayed on from the PoSW era, but X9 is the one that runs the show and X9 is the one that has routinely delivered on goals

What XSN is trying to do is much more involved, novel, and thought-out compared to the old PoSW era.
