Woke up and checked the posts from last night, half of you are brainlets that think someone can steal from your metamask so I guess I need to explain like you are five.

Metamask is a sandboxed application in your browser. A website cannot access your private keys or do anything without your permission from metamask. All a website can do is what metamask allows it to, basically look at your public address and your balance. Every other single thing requires your permission. Websites only interact through metamasks API.

Some other ppl were wondering how you "just get tokens". The Cereneum team took a snapshot of all 5 chains on May 31st. When you sign the claim message from your wallet (which does not expose your private keys you fucking brainlets learn how ECDSA signatures work ffs) the website looks up your public address balance from the exported UTXOs and sends it to the contract as a claim. Since you signed from that wallet it means you own the PKs to that address and the contract can safely give you your airdrop at a 10:1 BTC ratio.

The project also uses Merkle trees in the contract to verify your claim but I think 9/10 of you are Grugs that wouldn't understand that either. Ask questions ill try to answer.
