I just stay in think or swim all day, it's proprietary but comes free of charge with an Ameritrade account. Has some analysis tools, some cheesy shit that tries to predict where a stock will be heading in the very near future, etc.

I was really glad that it worked on Linux and other Unix boxes, although not surprised because it's written in Java and works practically anywhere because of it. Point being it works on OSX.

The thing is an unbelievably huge hog of resources though, takes a really hefty amount of RAM and processing power, also a noticeable slice of network bandwidth.
