>premiums

I hate 'em too but they're irrelevant if you follow any of the several good strategies to avoid premiums and stack both gold and silver well under spot price, it takes a bit more time and knowhow tho.

>How does this t work? You send him scrap silver, he refines it to pure silver and pours into bars, for some fee or %.?

If you look at my receipt you can follow along, here's the breakdown:

-I sent him a batch of scrap that after he melted it to burn off dead boomer grease and grime weighed 227.5 OZT
-He assays the ingots of scrap and calculated a purity of 91.6%
-Total pure silver content is 208.39 OZT
-If you're selling or refining over 100oz of silver, the payout is 92% of the silver, they keep 8% of the silver
-That leaves me 191.71 OZT that at a spot price of $24 I would receive $4601.25 for if I was selling
-Selling is for plebs, so I want 10oz bars manufactured, at a cost of $255 each ($240 worth of silver plus a $15 per 10oz bar manufacturing fee)
-They offer bars stamped with their pick and shovel PG&G logo, or a Skull & Crossbones, or a No Step on Snek stamp, I always specify that I want the PG&G logo stamped on my bars.
-$4601.25 is enough to cover 18 10oz bars, with $11.25 left over they applied to the cost of shipping

It's a small operation and will probably take a few months for your bullion to be returned, but they have always been legit since I started getting scrap refined in April 2020.

>I don't know what exchanging back to currency process is like but seems like there could be further loses. Is there something I'm just not understand or am I just not finding good places to buy?

If you're in the USA it's easy to sell silver or gold for cash at fair or above-spot prices at a LCS (local coin shop). Selling directly to other stackers on eBay, through Facebook groups or marketplace, plebbit, or locally is also easy. Pawn or cash4gold shops will rape you so pretend that they don't even exist. You want to shop around for a better deal than the one in your screencap, so use https://findbullionprices.com/ to look for at-spot deals for new customers and to easily sort the bullion products being sold by lots of online dealers for the lowest premium over spot. All silver is liquid but 10oz bars, 1oz rounds/coins, and pre-1964 coinage are generally the most widely desired or "nimble" size. For practicality in emergency/barter situations some 1oz units and old pre-1964 90% silver coins will be useful, but over the past several years the premiums have fluctuated widely so don't go overboard and FOMO into high premiums. Just a year ago we had buttfuck retarded anons buying $42/oz American Silver Eagles thinking they were about to moon, then the premiums collapsed and within the last several months they were back under $30/oz. For long-term holding you may want big lower-premium 1kg or 100oz bars, even though spot price will go up there is no guarantee that the premiums people pay now will be retained in 5-10 years.

After months of such dogged persistence I can't imagine anything but hopeless poverty being the motivation for IQDELET's sour grapes seethefaggotry.

I hear that he's an Untouchable Dalit who's known nothing but a lifetime of collecting feces from his designated neighborhood shitting street. He copes with the fact that subhuman wretches like himself will never afford the gold and silver owned and worn by the actual humans whose bowel movements give him sustenance by screeching about premiums and authenticity. It's almost an unbelievable way to spend one's free time after a long shift of collecting curried excrement, yet here he is coping and seething day after day month after month.

He's either a paid FUDshill or a retarded autist who bought the top in 2020 and got rekd so hard he's been coping and seething ever since. All his arguments are bad-faith too, he always asks why people pay over spot but when shown that one can stack silver at way below spot price he comes up with other asinine insults and false claims. Do not directly engage with IQDELET, he derives his sustenance from (yous) and the shekels he gets paid.

>56348521
>Lmao why would you pay more than spot do you like throwing your money away.

I haven't paid over spot since 2020, enjoying a huge instantaneous ROI is a splendid feel that you're too hopelessly stupid to ever experience yourself.

>How do you deal with the urges to dump all fiat into shinies?

I accommodate those urges without price risk or premiums eating my gains by purchasing below-spot shinies. If you know what you're doing then it's great, if not then just buy gold as pretentious midwits like>>56089126 have been recommending here lately.

>>56089162
I thought the $20.67/$35 gold peg revaluation was well known here so didn't specifically mention it, but to not be credibly accused of cherrypicking I figured the last year of gold at it's lowest price of $20.67 would be a fair starting point. As stated, if I chose 1940 or 1941 instead of 1932 then silver's performance would have been far superior relative to gold's. With a GSR above 1:70 I am very comfy stacking silver, I don't know when it will happen next but history shows that periodically the ratio collapses and silver holders can harvest tasty gains if they act within the typically narrow window of opportunity.

I kept those "Plata de Ley" (Spanish .915, not plated) goblets but have the common uninteresting stuff melted, refined, and returned as hand-poured ingots. I have another 7+kg load with the refinery now which ought to be ready sometime this month. Fortunate anon with those beefy serving dishes could turn them into a tidy stack of bullion too if desired, looks like he paid only around 5-10% of melt value so his DCA is surely looking better now.

In case you hadn't figured it out, HLXSaNT9, N/Q087wS and fZyazpRc are all IQDELET being an obvious samefag. He was trolling hard in April and May racking up 30+ PBTID every thread, repeating retarded nonsense about how stackers all pay gigantic premiums and always lose money while he shorts silver ETFs and buys lambos and takes trips to Vail with the proceeds. Very annoying little retard who never posted any proof of anything at all so we suspect he's an impoverished Pole or Sri Lankan or equivalent butthurt poorfag.
