Being a pedophile and being a child molester are different things. If you're only looking at drawings there's no reason to care other than moralfagging about things that don't affect anyone. Japan has much much lower child molestation rates than the UK despite completely different laws. One might wonder if perhaps it's a better way to do things, but it's seen as morally dubious in the west and as such taken out of proportion and looking at a drawing would be the equivalent of molesting a child in the eye of the public.
