Rule of thumb from personal experience: Use crypto with friends with caution!

> used LTC to pay for a few random shit online
(see >>16542416 )
> Had a friend get Coinbase with my referral code last year and he's been getting into crypto

> June 2019
> Needed to move a bunch of stuff out of my old apartment and into my office/storage space
> Asked friend to help me, since he had a large van he got from his father for dirt cheap. Saves on making multiple trips
> Give him a choice between DASH, ETH, or LTC (trying to hold BTC and LINK)
> He chooses LTC, so I pay him in LTC when it was around $130, gave him around $60 worth for gas + helping me, etc

> Last week he has been bitching and moaning constantly about how much LTC has dropped since then and mentions how he regrets accepting LTC and that I "ripped him off"

I gave him options and thought that it'd be neat to utilize crypto for personal transactions, but man do people obsess way too much over the USD. I enjoy holding it, and hell, there was a chance of it going even higher. The fact that I got to use it for a real world case I thought was a nice experience.
