Why is it so hard to explain to normies why Gold is real money and savings accounts are worthless etc?

I really want to help my family make it, but i cant, and i have resentment building because i know when I make it they will all expect handouts when i literally gave them the opportunity for years already.
My sister for example has 30K GBP in her savings account. She's saving for a mortgage. I explained how she should simply buy Gold Bullion instead, as it is a real savings account, and protects her wealth especially in COVID aftermath.

she doesn't trust it, says its risky, prefers to have it safe in the bank etc. No matter how i explain things, she never really gets it. Its very hard to explain inflation etc to people like that.
DESU through my experiences i think its better this way that normies don't understand. I dont feel bad anymore. they arent interested or even capable most the time of protecting themselves. they just dont even want to hear it. What the fuck is up with that?

They'll all continue to get fucked by inflation and money printing and never accumulate wealth. They are the people who stuck 100 shillings under a mattress in 1890 for their great grandchildren and then when they finally get it it's worthless, because they didn't do it in gold instead etc.

If you really DID understand blockchain you would have been all in LINK since 2017 or the day you found it.
I literally almost abandoned all blockchain investments due to the oracle problem. didn't know it was called an oracle problem but i just understood the concept and lack of oracles(in my head i thought of it as the broken chain issue, as the trustless blockchain was only as strong as the weakest chain, and getting data on them was the weak chain).

When i found out about Link early 2018 i went all in form that day and have never sold. I kept an eye on other oracle solutions but none hold a candle.
