every lan place I've been to has had minimum 10 set ups and that was for a comic book store that focused on wargaming. Max I saw was maybe more like 20-30, but for now lets go with 20.
A costco membership will cover you for basic drinks and snacks, unless you become so popular you install a soda machine w/ pouches, anything else exotic could be ordered off amazon, maybe some surge or something gimmicky like that. Lets say you also want to be that guy that also puts cool lounges in the back of the major consoles so that one guys gf has something to do. thats like 1.5k*3. Oh and I forgot about decorating the entire place so that it's not a shithole. That I'm just gonna throw a nice 15k at because fuck having a dump, no one would go there.

Lets say you opened at a lazy 11am and closed at 2am. I don't know what hours you'd want to do, but those would be pretty regular bar/hangout hours. 13 hours a day open. I'd assume you'd want to be open everyday except for something like mondays. So thats a possible 4,056 hours a year of play. An average capacity of 10 people at all times of a 20 slot community at 3 dollars an hour gives you 121,680. That gives you 25,180 left over! Just enough to pay the one minimum wage worker to help you cover those insane number of hours! We are become snacks, bringer of mountain dew and doritos.
