My old advisor in grad school had a dumb story about a dumbass he went to school with that tried (for whatever reason) to out-suck a vacuum pump typically used for pulling hi-vac for air-free chemistry. Guy ended up with a collapsed lung. Obviously this thing is moving way less air, but the violence of action required to dislodge a choke hazard is still going to hurt. There may be some indemnity though, if its a lifesaving device that can cause some harm in the course of preventing worse harm.

I was actually given a portfolio worth 250k at 18 and had 0 debts/expenses with no tangible assets.

I used the dividend cash that was banked up to pay for college, sold to diversify, and am now redumping into ETFs. 500k give or take now.

I also fuck around with a few grand in crypto and robinhood but thats just for fun.
