>the left side of the bell curve

Half are on welfare, the other half in menial retail/food service/labor work. We sold out our manufacturing which used to be the primary pathway to decent income for dumb people.

Yeah it's a clown economy. Will continue to be so until the inevitable regression.

Can be good or bad. As is usually the case in economic theory any kind of dogma is bad. The current "free trade at any cost" dogma is enforced from the top down, from the big money that profits from it. The average man suffers, though.

What I've seen is hyperglobalization, hyper free trade can lead to rapid de-diversification, which leads to dependence and vulnerabilities, as well as mass unemployment in certain regions. This cost outweighs the benefits of cheaper products.

How about manufacturing jobs going from 55% of the national economy to 15% in a matter of 10 years, that sounds pretty drastic to me

Not an honest argument. Their regulations are basically nonexistent, cutting their operating costs, and they treat their people like slaves. Ofc they can undercut us here. How the fuck is it fair for the government to raise the burden and cost of manufacturing work here and then go ahead and open up the floodgates to a slave person state of 1.5 billion?

What do bidenfags propose we do about the literal fake economy we have going on right now? Do you think a nation with over half of the workforce working in a hospital, 25% of people on welfare, a tiny cluster of meth heads working factory jobs, and everybody else driving for uber or pushing paper around, is destined for long term success?

Or does this sound like a late, decay stage society and economy to you as well?

Did those economics take into account fundamental market reforms enacted under Democratic Presidencies and then realized fully in the subsequent Presidency or did they employ deliberate myopia and pretend people like Clinton didn't craft the China blueprint that saw the United States middle class get gutted in a matter of a decade

>Clinton taking credit for the Reagan/Bush economy

He then proceeded to sell off 10 million manufacturing jobs and set us up for a housing crisis and recession with his HUD reforms. Thanks Bill!

You keep trying to make this about Trump the person, people are flawed, rather than Trump the political cause, which promises to combat mass outsourcing and immigration, which is what people rally to. It's almost like you don't want people to pay attention to those issues so you make it all about your little tabloid drama with Trump. Who cares how dumb he sounds, he's the first non-uniparty candidate in 40 years.
