You chose to ignore it all, and now you're poorer because of it. I've been warning you for close to 7 years now
>Alex Mashinsky headlining multiple SmartCons
>Partnering with Celsius and putting company treasury on platform
>Featuring Bancor and going silent when they rugged their users
>Partnering with Oracle on a startup program and sweeping it under the rug when the startups were found to be literal scams (gravelcoin anyone?)
>Partnering with something called Lady Luck and then deleting it after
>Hyping an empty partnership with Arbitrum and then walking it back when Arbitrum went with VC
>Getting shat on by a former partner (nexo) and taking no action, letting Nexo create a fake hedge fund just to short the company
>Creating "staking" which is just taking some dormant tokens in company wallets and distributing them out at a fixed yield (no real slashing or reputation)
>Sweeping vaporware under the rug like FSS, DECO, Mixicles
>Paying enormous sums of tokens (dumped for fiat) to "advisors" like Eric Schmidt and Tom Gonser who created little to no value for token holders over the span of 7 years
>Promising CCIP back in 2021 as releasing in 2022 and failing to release on mainnet in 2023
>Letting zero experience Adelyn run marketing for close to 7 years, failing to get Sergey on primetime television and having to settle for C-tier shows like Nasdaq Coffee Talk or whatever that bullshit is
>Making up fake partnerships and paying the node operators from dormant company wallets to create an illusion of an ecosystem

Sergey and Mashinsky, for a brief period, were seen hand in hand in the crypto space. Sergey appeared on Celsius podcasts, they partnered on the scammy CeFiDefi bullshit, Mashinsky headlined SmartCon after SmartCon, Sergey put Chainlink's treasury on Celsius, trusted Jessica, etc.

All mentions of this are now history and they've scrubbed their website of any mention of them. This is what a scam artists does, covers his tracks after the fact

This man has held conferences with people like pic related, vouched for their platforms, hired the scam artists to work for him, and never condemn their actions after being arrested or charged.

>Celsius
>Bancor
>LinkPool
>Nexo
>FTX
>BlockFi
>TerraLuna

Only the dumbest retard in the world would then believe Sergey will make them rich and wealthy. He's going to go from supporting every scam artist in crypto, to making you wealthy with the token that he's.... dumping as fast as he can every week on schedule? And you think that just because enterprise abstraction layer was a buzzword he mentioned in a youtube diary... that it's real? And you think he's not paying Eric Schmidt enough money to purchase a fucking yacht in the Med Sea? And you think Balaji keeps showing up for free?

He is a walking disaster, but smartly kept it quiet by avoiding the spotlight like his peers. Still, he is a billionaire due to dishonesty and being a smart con.

>Gives Alex Mashinsky and Celsius a golden spotlight for years before their scam unravels
>Lets Nexo sully reputation and produce a fake research report and never closed their partnership
>Invites Bancor to multiple conferences and gives another scam group the public backing of Chainlink
>Hires a scam artist named Jonny and legitimizes Linkpool which rips off its early adopters
>Lies about CCIP releasing in 2022, it's almost 2024 and it's still not on public mainnet
>Gives SBF a headliner at SmartCon, pays him hundreds of thousands of LINK right before his scam unravels
>Enterprise Abstraction Layer never sees the light of day, no enterprises use Chainlink in 2023
>Hypes up partnerships that end up being experiments, testnet, and side projects
>Oracle terminated their partnership with Chainlink after disastrous startups program
>Lost the backing of Yorke Rhodes, Microsoft Cryptlets, and Azure Blockchain
>Baseline and John Wolpert fail to produce anything of value for the ecosystem
>Chainlink is worth less as a project than it was when CCIP, Functions, Staking didn't exist

Sergey is lucky that people like SBF and Do Kwon exist, but mark my words he will see his day in court. He is as much of a scam artist as any of these people, a billionaire of no merit.

On the fundamental basis that inflation has risen substantially the past 3 years, stock markets are at all time highs, and Chainlink is below its 2020 price makes it one of the worst investments possible. The fake tokenomics not working like CCIP or so called staking make it even worse

Chainlink got outperformed by a guy who forked doge

Did you know that the first three SmartCon conferences featured smart con artists? The very first featured guys from Bancor and Celsius. Anons, trusting Sergey and co. that these entities were legit, lost all of their funds by entrusting "partners" of Chainlink. Chainlink has never apologized or changed strategy, and subsequent SmartCons featured even more smart con artists

Since the very first SmartCon, LINK has cratered on the BTC and ETH pair. Basically, the start of these con artist conferences directly lead to anons losing 98% against ETH and 96% against BTC. They are stealing the two most important crypto from bagholders partnering with a circle of scammers and con artists.

Who's really low iq? Hearing the truth may hurt but that doesn't make it dumb. Coping is coping, none of you can actually refute any of the facts being presented in this thread. Should we go back and listen to Sergey discuss blockchain with Alex Mashinsky instead? What about his fireside chat with the Docusign founder that led to nowhere?

Fast forward to mid-2023
>Not even $10
>Create made up acronyms while cashing out hundreds of millions each month
>Pay people to show up to annual conference for talks about "research" and vaporware
>Staking centers around a fake report button and no unlocks
>Tokens with no volume or market cap offered in addition to US Treasury yields
>Got the rest of supporters caught up in Bancor, BlockFi, Celsius, FTX, Nexo, Gemini Earn
>Invited scam artists to annual conference and then blame them in hindsight for industry fallout
>N-no we had no part in this fraud and theft!
>String the few remaining "enthusiasts" along for years with fringe updates on vaporware products
>Continue offloading remaining supply until finished and then hide in Cayman Islands

A scheme I could only dream of coming up with

It's always been this way. I'm working on a script to send to publishers about the scam that is Chainlink, but you all should know you're being taken along for a long-term ride. Sergey has been associated with, at some point or another, every single scam artist in the crypto industry, starting with pic related. No institution will work with somebody with this kind of track record, hence no institution has become a paying client.

Not even $10. You got your staking, you got your cute little cosplay conventions where you all wear plaid shirts. You got Eric Schmidt and the coffee boy at SWIFT. And yet, you're a middle of the pack shitcoin after 6 years? What happened?

>Used to shill all the 'advisors' Sergey hired with your money
>Swore CCIP would be delivered
>Thought Arbitrum would use LINK for gas
>Then thought Arbitrum would use Chainlink BUILD/SCALE and airdrop you a bunch of tokens
>Thought Baseline and Provide would deliver enterprise
>Thought DECO, Mixicles, Town Crier and a bunch of vaporware would bring SHIB level gains
>Thought $20 in Aug 2020 was just the beginning
>Thought the first in-person SmartCon would mean $1000
>Thought SIBOS meant something
>Believed Google would pump your bags
>Swore that staking would cause a token scarcity event
>Thought LINK would have an ETH run

Wrong wrong and more wrong. You were wrong each and every time you created a new crumb to generate excitement. You thought market cap 3 was a given. What went wrong?

Do you think a bunch of cheeto stained neet morons holding gobs of LINK tokens could cash out at once? Do you think exchanges like Coinbase would have the US dollar reserves to pay you $1000 for one LINK shitcoin? It's never happening. A shitty small time bank imploded from garbage startups withdrawing at once. This has proven that systematically, LINK would never hit $1000. If it did, it would last 30 seconds as you greedy retards would try to hit the withdraw button all at once. Just like at $50 which lasted 12 hours at the most, there's not enough liquidity in the system to support you all. Good try

A philosophy major without a technical background, can't code, and without the discipline to eat a clean and balanced diet has never delivered on anything. He doesn't even have the charisma to get as much press as Elizabeth Holmes or Adam Neumann. He's closer to Justin Sun than Vitalik Buterin. And now, after almost 6 years, /biz/ is starting to turn on him. My question is, why did it take so long? Why are you just now realizing he is just a con artist? The clues were right in front of you this entire time

Reminder that no Crypto VC's will touch LINK, there's no money to be made. You can be 1000% sure that if there was money to be made, a2z and Paradigm would've been in LINK. Polychain Capital never went near this grenade

Marines to put Eric Schmidt on a pedestal when he's literally mentioned LINK twice, once on a podcast and once on a paid speaking appearance at Smart Con. The same marines pumped up Tom Gonser and thought they had "DOCUSIGN" in the bag, where did that guy go? Marines, what happened to your narratives?
