that is a very interesting mix of traveled and angular gold. Usually any sharp edges wear off after a short period because of how fragile gold is. Here is a good comparison from one of my claims, pic related.

The nugget on top is dendritic, and has traveled about 100-200m more than the nugget below, which is angular, has fine sharp points and has quartz in it on the other side. The sample on the bottom is likely from within 100 meters of its source, while the top may be from 200 or more meters away. Both pieces are from the two known sources above my workings, two different deposition halos of quartz veining.
