Okay, this is a serious/techie topic.

Someone called Dr. Craig Wright claims that bitcoin is Turing complete (this is considered his signature theory, albeit not peer-reviewed). However, when you look into it, it looks like some wordplay where he uses an arbitrary definition, and his "Turing completeness" doesn't allow for infinite loops, which makes completely no sense because you're unable to create loops with an unknown number of iterations (the same limitation applies to the scripting language of his coin, BSV).

Can CS guys elucidate on this from a more academic perspective? Is this truly as much sophistry as it seems to be?

Could someone ELI5 all the Sigwit2x, BIP91, BTC1 stuff to me? This might also inform the board in general since most here are clueless sheep.
