Founded by Emin Gun Sirer, a PHD professor at cornell whi has been working on cryptocurrencies since 2003 before satoshi. Making a while new type of consensus, going after a whole different area of finance to current cryptos just as debt instuments, etc. Highly scalable and fast transactions with no problems, mainnet is already built.
