I left them back in around 2010 or so when there was a day I was retarded and overdrafted (common back in my 20s) one item out of I think 5 purchases that hit all on the same day. But here's where they fucked me: I had enough money to pay 4 of the 5 items, but they overdrafted me for all 5. How you ask? They added up all the debits I owed for the day, compared it to the available funds; it wasn't enough to cover, so they broke the group back down into individual items and charged me for all of them. Tried to get my money back but they claimed something about 'it was their system to ensure big ticket items like mortgages go through' or some nonsense. I had the impression the girl on the phone didn't even buy her own bullshit. I think years later this process was found illegal or something and they had to stop, I dunno.

I walked in the bank I think the next day and closed my accounts. Fuck that bank with a thousand suns. Whenever I see someone who has them, I try to tell them that story to get them to leave. Only worked once with a friend, but there you go.
