What is the best way to make about $4000 for a film project? Crowdfunding? The issue with crowdfunding seems to be only leftist-centric stuff will get made. The project I have doesn't pander to that crowd. (There's a project on kickstarter about a gay priest for instance).

I've read about angel investors. I just need this initial monetary input to get the ball rolling for my project. Does anyone have experience with finding investors?
