I would do either of the following
- buy a 6 bdroom house or something you can divide in bedrooms in a place near universities, in SC you can get them for 70k, do 10k in downpayment, take a 20yr loan for the rest. Rent the apartments for 800 R$ each.the income will be 125% of the required monthly payment, put the excess in SELIC @ 13.75% apy, be done for the rest of your life
- go 40% on S&p 500, 40% QQQ, 20% SELIC.

"The consumer" is only holding back on credit card debt expansion because this is what is known as "saving up for something" in modern day twisted Burgerland. The credit card debt fueled spending spree of epic proportions is going to happen this Christmas in proportions and magnitudes previously unseen.
Next year when the personal debt numbers are going to be released that cover the upcoming holiday season it'll pale every other green candle in comparison.
