I fell for the learn-to-code meme and am now stuck working a soul-sucking """software engineer""" job for 88k in Canada at a big name company. I've realized that this isn't what I wanted from life, that I can't stick it out for 5-10+ years to get into management, and am determined to make a change. A slight pay cut is worth it to me at this point.
In high school, I always wanted to be a lawyer or financier/businessman, but was told that I should pursue tech at the undergrad level because it would be easier to cut my teeth there and transfer to the legal/business side later, should I choose to do that. Turns out this is easier said than done. I'm now looking at MBA programs, as well as finance MScs. What other options should I look at? For anyone who did a business masters, was it worth it? Or should I start a shitty dropshipping business on amazon and brand myself as an "entrepreneur" instead?

I won't pretend that this site has no cultural gems, but if you think you're engaging in any sort of serious self-improvement by being here, I have a bridge to sell you.
