I am not sure if I am in the right thread but I need advice. A year ago I moved into an apartment in MN with my girlfriend. We were required to pay first and last months rent and 450 dollars for a security deposit. Long story short, she broke up with me and she reletted her lease to a friend of mine. Now I just moved out and she is demanding that one of us pays her for the last month of rent. Am I obligated to pay her, or is my roommate, or neither of us? Please help
