Half ounce to an Ounce of gold if you're just doing it to stack and have that much to spend. Britannias are cheapest but kinda lame if you just want a hard to counterfeit piece of gold that isn't a generic bar. American gold eagles have higher premiums but people want them more. Same with maples and krugerrands. Although gold eagles and krugerrands are not pure gold.
