Fees? I just sold my boomer rocks for 1% under spot. This wasn't about turning a profit, it was about getting experience as well as exchanging my bars of gold so I could get coins instead due to them being CGT free.

I think it's more a case Chards inspects all their coins they send to customers. It's a small business which makes me think they have the luxury to do it. Any defective coins get sent back.

He could have just brought some actual silver with the money he spent on the brass and actually be on the precious metals ladder regardless how small. I mean, this is my current collection. It isn't big but I'm happy with what I've got and plan to make it bigger over the years.
