one moderate to severe medical incident, and your $50K will be gone in 60 seconds. Yeah, you’re young and healthy now, but you should be using this as an opportunity to position yourself for an actual career. Doesn’t have to be college, either. It could be apprenticeships, certifications, etc.
Just know that as a contract gig worker, you are completely and totally expendable. You’ll be replaced with another unskilled laborer upon the slightest hiccup.
