Even then everything is so STEM-ized that knowing japanese, for example, is only useful if you're also a mech engineer and can work at one of their factories in your country (assuming they have factories in your country) or arabic is useful if you're an architect and can plan the next skyscraper in Dubai.

Liberal arts effectively 'doesn't exist' as a viable career choice unless you are a woman who can suck cocks for funding for your art.
