Intuitively why would a credit spread ever yield more in credit than the spread itself? Makes no sense.
Granted, I placed this limit order to buy 50 Aug 30/31 C bull call spreads for 0.50 before the first halt on BBBY yesterday and the amount of market orders to sell placed during the flat filled my DEBIT spread for -0.18 kek for 6 contracts before I cancelled the rest of the limit order.
Basically was paid $98 to open a spread with a max gross profit of $600 kek
