why are safes so shit?
anything with an electronic mechanism is already garbage thanks to the backup mechanical locks always being the weakest link. but even when looking for mechanical only safes, they dont really look particularly secure.
why not make a safe where you can simply slot in a door lock, be it pin tumbler or dimple or whatever? i reckon those are far more secure than your old ass looking lock mechanisms on most small safes are.
surprised to see that lock picking lawyer never did a video attacking these kinds of locks, only the mechanical backups. i cant imagine the pick resistance being very good.
