Yeah micros kind of live their own life. I want more medium caps because micros won't be affected by rising commodity prices as much. On the topic of selling and getting into a microcap, if all your investments are good and the investment case hasn't changed and you still believe the company to be undervalued/charged for price increase, just wait until you can invest more money and put that into the micros.
No need to sell solid money for speculative money unless you're extremely convinced you'll get bigger returns quicker with a microcap.
