I have a phone interview Wednesday and I'm nervous about it. It's for a graphic design position, entry level stuff. I've been working in customer service for a few years and this is an attempt to get into an industry that actually has some potential. Pay is the same but I'd get to work from home most days and actually do something I kind of give a shit about.
So I've never done this kind of work professionally but have a small portfolio of what they're looking for. Any general ideas on how to get from phoner to in person interview, /biz/? How do I sidestep having no prior work experience in this field?
