man ETH maxis are the worst people in the world
>here's this revolutionary tech with the potential to save the world
>let's sell it out for VC capital so we can afford offices in Palo Alto
>let's give 80% of the tokens to early investors so every time we release a potentially useful product or feature they can dump on gullible poor people
>check it out Joe Smith you can do this thing called "staking" where you earn money like a savings account!
>dumps
>but wait check this out there are these things called DAOs where you can vote
>whoops the voting is controlled by those same corrupt whales
>but wait wait there's these things called decentralized exchanges where like you can give your tokens so they get used when people switch back and forth and and like you earn fees
>whoops another VC whale sold 30% of his stack so the price of one token just crashed so you lost all your money
>wait no but check this out there are these unique tokens called NFTs that you can use to represent real things
>i mean yeah they're manipulated for the benefit of insiders and used exclusively for money laundering during tax season
>this is the future of money, no seriously
>the $10 transaction fees? the cost of doing business. maybe try not being poor
>check out how revolutionary this tech is, guys.
>yes we are literally funded and controlled by JP Morgan and yes Wall Street has its whole arm up Joe Lubin's asshole to the point that it purchases regulators to file specious enforcement suits against competitors
>but no i mean seriously like this is the future trust me. revolutionary. Ripple is the banker coin. ETH is the cool hacker coin. Our logo is a unicorn on a cloud made of coins
>Tether? pfft FUD comes and goes, USDT is forever. obviously it's backed, look at this tweet by the CEO that says so
a great reckoning cometh. the end is near.

True, I’m just looking at the short term. Too many get rich quick schemes that flood us here.

I think the value will increase albeit at a more controlled rate. Obviously this means it will be less volatile as well, but you will need to hold it for longer for potential growth, but that also depends on what the team does going forward.

Fuck it, I’ll keep my small stack for now.

The majority of your funds should be invested long term in bitcoin.

A smaller amount on a slightly more volatile coin

An even smaller amount spread across newer very volatile coins.

Don’t fall for the immediate gratification trap.
