>When there is a supply increase or decrease, everyone's token will undergo the same change proportionally. Thus, if you hold 1% of AMPL when total supply is 1 million, you will still hold 1% of AMPL when the total supply is 100 million assuming you did not sell or add to your portfolio. Change in supply changes the amount of tokens you have but your share/percentage of the total supply stays the same.

Consider the following scenario...

>Someone invested $1000 one month ago in Ampleforth
>Today that person has only $100 of that $1000 after a bombardment of continuous negative rebases.
>Now lets say the market cap goes up to $1 billion

Will he have 4x his original $1000 investment or 4x his $100?

SCENARIO ONE: I invested $1000 one month ago in Ampleforth, and then today I have only $100 of that $1000 after a bombardment of continuous negative rebases. Today the Ampleforth token starts to moon considerably.

SCENARIO TWO: Today I invest $100 in Ampleforth and the token starts to moon considerably.

Can someone explain to me in simple terms which scenario is better if in both scenarios the holder of Ampleforth wants to hodl and long their investment?

Thanks

9 days and 19 hours ago loads of the big whales bought large shares in ampl when ampl was on its way down and at that point around $1.5.

Why did they do this?

Should I buy Ampies now?

If the market cap is low like it is right now and I invest, do I own a bigger % of the market cap, and so if the market cap starts to increase, I will still own that % I originally bought when the price was under $1?

Go onto Ampleforth's website and you will see that a gentleman called Niall Ferguson is on Ampleforth's advisory board-

https://www.ampleforth.org/about/

Who is Niall Ferguson? He is an author and historian, specialising in international history, the world economy and the banking systems therein.

More specifically and in relation to Ampleforth, he is the only author who was given access to the House of Rothschild's private archives in London in order to write two volumes on the Rothschild family.

Gentlemen if this fellow has the trust of the Rothschild family, to the point where they would give him unparalleled access to their archives that were previously shrouded in secrecy, it is not a stretch of the imagination to assume his participation in Ampleforth, especially as it is described as a 'decentralized federal reserve', is nothing short but a telling sign as to the future plans propagated by the powerful elite.

Don't sleep on this one men.

Credit goes to another anon who today highlighted who this Niall Ferguson was.

I just thought more people needed to know about this.
