You can use a metric called Dumb Money Saturation (DMS) to consider when to start taking profits, and just what level of euphoria we were at.
A DMS of 0 is the bottom of the bear market, absolute capitulation, only the most deluded autists holding on.
A DMS of 10 is the top of the bull market, absolute euphoria, "One day Tron cryptocurrency will be $10,000 a coin".
At the start of the year we had a DMS of about 1. A long, tiring, unproductive bear market with little new money coming in.
I would currently assess the DMS at about 4. I think a DMS of 6 or 7 is time to take profits on shitcoin gambles, and a DMS of 8 or higher is time to take profits on blue chips like LINK.
The current DMS rating comes from: Twitter normies, LINK finally being brought into the plebbit awareness by sheer force of gains, an increase in /biz/ newfags who can't even use Coinbase or understand the absolute basics. I don't rate it higher because it is still completely out of the general public awareness, and "new tech" bullruns usually have multiple waves up.
