I'm just blindsided. How the fuck was anyone supposed to guess that the government was working with Oshkosh behind the scenes to make a completely different proposal than what Oshkosh had publicly put forward?

I've been in this from the start and my average cost is $2 so I'm not completely ruined or anything, but holy fuck am I sour.

Now that Dems have the political highground (for two years, until they probably lose the House) they're almost certainly going to push through their USPS funding that requires at least 75% EVs.

I love that WKHS is politically immunized despite relying heavily on a government contract. Looking forward to $40+ share price in a few months.

Fuck, I knew I should have sold WKHS when it went over $30 again on this Roth thing. I figured there was no way USPS wouldn't move the date back, but I got too spooked to sell.

Yeah there's no material change. It ran up to $30 really fast because Roth counted the calendar days and said "well the USPS SAID it would have a decision by the 13th", and people FOMO'd in. There was also a short-and-distort scheme right before that that tricked a bunch of people into shorting the stock, who then had to cover as it spiked.

I really don't mind that much because I don't want to pay short-term capital gains on my giant WKHS windfall. The slower and steadier this thing rises, the better. Some of my shares are from August 2019, but the vast majority are from March 2020 when I absolutely loaded up at $1.50.

Poor little Grumman LLVs. Their suffering is almost over.

>I think that WKHS would only need about 10%-15% of the contract to maintain a $20 or more stock price?

Analyst that gave it a $26 price target based it on a scenario where WKHS got 10% of the contract.

The USPS funding the House wanted to pass dictated that at least 75% of the contract be for EVs. WKHS is the only EV left in the running.

>1) trump is fucking with the USPS

Funding for the vehicle contract is unaffected by this. But even beyond that, he's going to have to capitulate to whatever Congress says or face charges of outright obstruction of the election. Even the Republicans are starting to get pissed at him for it.

>2) do you really think a small EV company will beat oshkosh who is back by FORD

The ONLY reason Oshkosh-Ford is even part of the process is because USPS wanted a token traditional internal combustion engine option in case they decided EVs weren't going to work at all for some reason. The entire initiative is focused on EVs because they're going to be a tremendous cost-cutting measure and save on maintenance costs.

But hey, it's a free country. Go all in on OSK and F today if you're that confident. They're publicly traded!

They go home to their garage and sleep after driving for 100 miles.

USPS has said the #1 motivation for the new fleet (other than the classic LLVs literally incinerating themselves) is to decrease maintenance costs, which are currently weighing heavily on them. EVs will massively decrease maintenance (and fuel) costs.
